Feb. 6, 2008 Minoru Chen Approx. 90 young adults from the church in Irvine YAs are the “waist” of the Body and should bear the primary burden of the Levitical and priestly service in the church life; YAs are the tip of the spearhead and should be at the forefront of the Lord’s move; there is a danger of the YAs being “idle” and “unfruitful” (2 Pet. 1:8) Link
Jan. 21, 2009 Minoru Chen Approx. 100 young adults from Irvine (and some from neighboring churches) YAs must “step up” to bear responsibility in and for the church; YAs have played a key role every time the Lord has made a major move in His recovery; YAs as a group has grown to unprecedented levels, positioning the Lord to move dramatically toward the consummation of the age; YAs must rise up, pray desperately to consecrate fully to the Lord and His church, and dive into the church life with a spirit of absolute sacrifice; YAs must “come” and “go” in the book of Hebrews. Jan. 28, 2009 Tom Goetz Approx. 80 young adults from the South Orange County churches (Irvine, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, San Juan Capistrano) YAs should present themselves as "stepping stones" for the Spirit to move and not to allow the Spirit to pass on by; YAs should pick up the baton of the Lord's recovery and to continue the race that was begun by others at great cost; need a particular, "upper room" consecration that would match the age and our station in life; YAs were urged to make a rationale, logical, and reasonable choice to hand themselves absolutely to the Lord and practically to the Body for the church life. Feb. 26, 2009 Minoru Chen Approx. 100 young adults from South OC In All Ages for the Lord’s Testimony, God numbered the children of Israel from the view of (1) redemption (Exo. 30:16) where every believer is called to fight, (2) consecration (Lev. 27:2-8) where a believer is valued according to his or her vow to serve, and (3) actual service (Num. 1:3; 4:3, 30, 36-39; 8:24-25) where a believer is called to take care of God’s house and testimony.  Link
June 4, 2009 Minoru Chen Approx. 80 young adults from South OC Since the priestly service is synonymous with military service, YAs should expect to fight to serve; YAs should be like the tribe of Levites, directly related to the Lord’s testimony and moving with Him, as opposed to serving the Lord “from a distance” (as the other tribes); others have paid the price for the YAs to enjoy the church life they have today and now it is the YAs’ turn to pay that price; the way for the YAs to be saved is to serve.
